Thomas has over five-year experience in local community and youth engagement and empowerment, social justice advocacy, and peace education. He currently serves as Coordinator of J.J.Y. Community Club, a sub-set of Youth Network for Reform Inc. (YONER-LIBERIA), a legal youth development NGO in Liberia that had already helped to improve the lives of more than 30,000 underprivileged and civil war affected youths and children in Liberia in partnership with local communities, National and international youth-centered organizations.
He is involved in the organization of a peace-building tournament that brings together more than 300 youths from ten different communities in honor of the celebration of Liberia’s Independence Day (July 26, every year) which keeps and saves children and youth out of the streets. He has also represented Youth Network for Reform (YONER- LIBERIA) as International Delegate at the Inter-governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA), Regional Sensitization Workshop on Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/CFT Requirements Paradise Hotel Kololi, The Gambia.
