Join YouTube as their Manager in Music Publishing Partnerships!
In this role, you will interact with youtube’s partners and help them find ways to grow using Google’s product offerings.

Responsibilities
- Discuss as well as execute partnerships with content partners primarily for compositions rights.
- Manage strategic composition rights partners
- Prioritize agreement and business line development through analysis and understanding of YouTube’s product roadmap.
- Define content acquisition strategies, where to focus efforts, and choose a mix of acquisition channels/methods.
- Initiate as well as maintain relations with content owners/creators, develop and lead scalable content acquisition programs
- In addition, help build content metrics/business infrastructure tools.
Minimum qualifications:
- Holds the citizenship of Mexico.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in music or licensing music rights for digital music, broadcast, or internet businesses.
- Experience in negotiating/managing partnerships for music copyrights, publishing challenges, sync rights as well as performance licenses/withdrawals.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or JD.
- Experience negotiating complex music agreements.
- Experience with spreadsheet analysis, data management, and YouTube’s Content Management System.
- Ability to learn technological concepts, financial models, as well as product features.
- Also owns the ability to speak and write in Portuguese.
- In addition, excellent relationships in the publishing music industry.
