PepsiCo is looking for a Specification Writer within the category of Research and Development.

PepsiCo, Inc. is a multinational food, snack, and beverage corporation. PepsiCo’s business encompasses all aspects of the food and beverage market. It oversees the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of its products.

Accountabilities:

• Digitizing formula, process, and 3 PM specifications on behalf of PD / TBS teams for all innovation, TBS, and productivity projects
• Working with PD, commercialization, and regulatory to coordinate and assemble finished product specifications
• Coordination of specification approval workflows within SAP with PD and TDC partners to ensure approval of all specifications within required project timelines
• Also, working with commercialization and DMO to ensure required R&D data is handed off for PGT material / BOM setups (UK/ Poland) and traceability between R&D specifications and supply chain materials maintained for non-PGT market

• Working with SDSA to ensure generation of specification reports and their availability in PDMS/ISL in conjunction with project timelines needs
• In addition, working with R&D data governance and SDSA to raise change requests to ensure required data attributes are available for use in SAP
• Support with ad-hoc R&D specification gap resolution requests driven from PGT-EW1 data reconciliation / PGT-EW2 data acceleration activities
• Identifying areas of opportunity wrt way of working enhancements with PD, TDC, Commercialization, DMO as well as SC partners
• Moreover, support in coordination and execution of specification obsoletion

• Astuteness for data management and accuracy
• Structured process-driven mindset
• Also, working knowledge of SAP / proven ability to quickly learn and work within specification systems
• Ability to work under pressure – conducting multiple activities, supporting multiple projects across all platforms to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate with internal as well as external functions to R&D across L4 – L9
• Moreover, food industry PD / technical background to enable easier interpretation and transformation of raw data from PD
