The Conference on Language and Ecology in China

The Conference on Language and Ecology: Towards a Shared Narrative in Interdisciplinarity Research 2019 will take place at Hong Kong Shue Yan University on 5-7 September 2019. Following the ecological theme of last year’s successful conference “The Anthropocene and Beyond: Towards a Shared Narrative in Interdisciplinarity Research”, the coming conference focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to research on ecology with a focus on language. The conference will provide a platform for scholars to share their research work and ideas in areas spanning from biocultural diversity, biosemiotics, language ecology, and language acquisition to ecological discourse analysis.
We are now inviting theoretical, methodological, empirical and pedagogical contributions in the following areas:
