Born in Trou-du-Nord, Adelin Pierre has a bachelor degree in Environment and Spatial Planning at Campus Henry Christophe in Limonade. Since his early age, he was passionate about water and sanitation, human right and environment, including climate change.
After being a francophone blogger on website Youth Of Voice (UNICEF) and Focal Point of Youth Advisory Board Haiti (YAB-Haiti), Adelin currently is Executive Director at Caribbean Youth Environment Network in Haiti (CYEN-Haiti).
An active member of Haitian society, he was able to represent Youth of Voice near UN organizations, international and governmental organizations on issues relating to human rights, peace and security and also climate change. Due to his dynamism, he has been recently nominated ‘’ Young Ambassador of Climate’’ by Haitian Government.
As Young Ambassador of Climate, he co-organized Local Conference of Youth on climate change (LCOY Haiti) and also he inspires some young people all over Haiti about his campaign "ECOJOGGING", which is to allow athletic lovers to collect plastic bottles and bags to turn them into art objects.
