Enoch Tumwine was born in june 1996 in uganda in the family of five boys and two girls. His dad passed on when he was two, so currently is suported by his mom. He had attended primary and secondary schools at Ekitangaala primary and secondary school. He joined Conerstone Leadership Academy in Rwanda in 2012. He is currently at the University of Kigali pursuing bachelors in Laws and he is in his second year at college.
While at Cornerstone Leadership Academy in Rwanda, Mr. Enoch founded a DEBATE CLUB that became Platform for students to discuss and argue about the current issues in their societies. Together with a few others, they founded an Initiative called BUILDERS OF HOPE IN AFRICA which aimed at raising funds to support kids from humble backgrounds and also supporting the elderly people in the communities. He served as its president.
Having graduated from high school, Mr. Tumwine has been involved in many leadership initiatives aimed at developing Youth Leadership. Among them Edify Rwanda which is a youth Leadership development nonprofit organization and he worked as the LEADERSHIP MENTOR to the youth. He also volunteered with "Acts for Rwanda" which supports many needy kids in Rwanda.
Having joined the university of kigali,he became the coordinator of Africa Youth Leadership forum which is a university based movement aimed nurturing a new breed of the African Leaders. Mr. Enoch also founded the youth leadership initiative where he teaches "the seven habits of highly effective people and the 21 laws of Leadership". He reaches out the secondary student leaders and university leaders. Mr. Enoch has been featured in the NEWTIMES news paper which is the leading news paper in the whole of Rwanda.
I have been able to motivate fellow youth by providing debating platforms where they can their views and also share their experiences. Moreover, having worked and volunteered with many leadership initiatives, many youths have been helpful to develop a new perspective of their through challenging them to maximize their potentials.
In my current initiative of Youth leadership initiative, I have been able to reach out to more than 1000 youths teaching the seven habits of highly effective people and the 21 laws of leadership. This has helped to motivate the youths.
