Faten Ghriss is a software engineer who graduated a few months ago from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Tunis, Tunisia. She majored in Computer Network and Telecommunication. One of the most impact experiences that she had is being a co-founder of Young Tunisian Coders Academy. This has been the result of spending an exchange year in Minnesota State University, Mankato in Minnesota, U.S.A and winning a meaningful grant from the U.S Department of State.
She’s, currently, working as a software engineer in an American company called Predictix. She’s someone who has always thrived for making the most out of the opportunities that she encounters while making sure to learn, give and share.
Since I was in high school, I always managed to be involved in different activities, associations and any kind of organization that I believe will be interesting and might increase my chances into finding more interesting opportunities along with developing my country as much as I can.
Now that I have spent an exchange year in the U.S and that I have gained a certain knowledge and experience, I believe that it's my turn to give as much as I have been given. Thus, I co-founded Young Tunisian Coders Academy and we are always seeking people to join us in order to experience what it feels to work with kids and participate into their development. I always encourage people into applying to exchange programs along with any kind of program that I believe will change a lot in people and will make them want to do more into developing their countries.
