Harold Bernardo Bueno earned his degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Bachelor in Business Management and Masters in Business Administration in the Philippines and is presently studying Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism in Taylors University-Malaysia. He worked in several hotels and restaurant in the Singapore and Philippines and pursued academia afterward. He is a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines for Secondary Education Major in Social Science. Driven by the passion in education, he became the Program Head of Hotel and Restaurant Management Department of the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Far Eastern University-Manila. At the moment, he is an assistant professor in the same university handling different hospitality and tourism courses and oversees research and entrepreneurship business planning students. In 2016, he also taught and supervise undergrad research student is Taylors University- Malaysia.
He joined coach and bagged several awards in national and regional culinary competition from 2007 to 2016 in the Philippines. Consequently, was awarded as the Young Outstanding Novo Ecijano of the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija in the Philippines. Moreover, he has presented researcher papers in China, India, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Brunei, and Laos. His aspiration for research has elevated to the next level when he was awarded international research grant from The Sumitimo Foundation in Japan for his farm-to-table research project. Subsequently, he is on his training to be one of the global school ambassadors of United Nation’s- Global School- Sustainable Development Solution Network.
