Hayato Takakura
Ambassadors 2017

Having inspired by many science programs, such as Asian Science Camp 2012 held in Israel (www.asc2012.ort.org.il/) and Petnica International Summer Science School held in Serbia (petnica.rs/), Hayato Takakura is now majoring in physics at Keio University, Japan (www.keio.ac.jp/en/). Recently, he has joined a research program at National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (www.nao.ac.jp/en/) and has become interested in astronomy as well.

Also, Mr. Hayato has been engaged in a science camp for the junior high school students as a teaching assistant. In other fields than science, he is involved in Dream Class Project, which offers an education program for disabled children in Bình Định Province, Vietnam.

How do you motivae the youths living in developing world for the better future?

Many organizations in the world are offering the youth opportunities to broaden their mind and knowledge. However, it is not very easy for most of the people to find these opportunities because of the lacking information and resources. Therefore, the most powerful way of motivating the youths is to build an organized platform where people can exchange the information about these opportunities.

As a person who has been blessed with such many opportunities, I hope to be a power for those who are looking for opportunities by offering as much information as possible, as well as by telling my experiences and knowledge.
