Inalegwu Frank UJI is the Founder of SOCIETY FOR LIFE AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE that is aimed at helping to mobilize, support and engaging young persons and women to contribute to the change they wanted and currently the African Regional Director- Nile African Development, Uk. He started his community work experience as a volunteer for change in the community after peer education training on HIV/AIDS prevention among young persons in 1997. After that, he mobilized, support and built his capacity on HIV/AIDS, Adolescent reproductive health, leadership and entrepreneurship. Since 1997, Mr. Inalegwu has passionately advocated for education and economic policies that give children and women the opportunity to reach their full potentials, good governance and accountability.
He says, “my life's commitment to change in the community and support to the vulnerable populations, is rooted in my faith and passion for public service.”
Mr. Inalegwu has done Higher National Diploma in Business administration from Benue state polytechnic and diploma in Social works and Development from Benue state University, Nigeria.He has received several awards such as Change Ambassador for Peace and Humanity2016, YELI/Universal Peace Development, African MDG Achievers International Awards 2010 (NILE African Development Organization UK),Nigerian Youth Leadership Award 2009 (LEAP AFRICA),Voluntary Excellent Award 2008, Leadership and accountability Award 2008 (Development Watch Network Initiative),2008 Justice Maker Competition Finalist for Sparkling Criminal Justice Reform (International Bridge to Justice) and Award of Excellent in Coordination 2007.
Young people are the leaders of tomorrow but our tomorrow starts from today and we all have a role to play in putting things together. I encourage young people through my online platform sharing ideas and mentoring through leadership and opportunities for development.
