Keneilwe Mathaba graduated from the University of Botswana in 2011 with Bachelor of Arts Humanities with majors in Environmental Science and English. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Keneilwe worked for Cheetah Conservation Botswana (CCB); a local NGO that aims to protect the cheetah population. She worked as a Conservation Education Officer, a position she passionately held for 4 years. Her role involved among others organizing and conducting bush camps for students, facilitating community outreaches with farmers in rural communities as well as participating in national and international workshops and conferences. With strong interests in community development, she lives her life as an ardent volunteer.
She is currently studying Masters of Science in Natural Resources Assessment and Management in Tanzania with University of Dar es Salaam. She loves to serve people around, hence her dedication to being the driver of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a volunteer in a number of organizations as listed above are no surprises. She actively participates in youth empowerment initiatives as well as other causes that support underprivileged children. She is also a lover of nature.
