Warutere Kariuki is the first born in family of three in Nyandarua County- Kenya. He attended Amani Primary School in the same locality after sitting for Kenya Certificate of Primary School he was enrolled Nyahururu Boys High School. During the period in high school he attended several mathematics, science and geography contests in several secondary school. He was also the dormitory captain where he was in the front line to ensure good living standards for the fellow students.
After passing the Secondary Education examination in 2008 he was admitted in Moi University in Eldoret Kenya to pursue Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science. In Moi University he has been a member of; Moi University Nyandarua Students Association where he has served in various capacities and currently he is the Project Coordinator, Nyeri-Nyahururu Catholic Diocese as a member and Actuarial Science Students Association of Moi University where he is the Current Finance Secretary. In the above associations he has been able to help organize and attend numerous Youth mentorship functions in several parts of Kenya, has also held many debates and discussion on the issues affecting youth in Kenya and trying to come up with possible solutions.
Back in Nyandarua County he is a member of Solidarity Youth Group serving as the organizing secretary. The group has held successful community functions like mentorship activities to students, visiting children orphanages and advising women as well as youths on need of forming self-help groups and occupation association. The group also help to share ideas on how implement the groups strategies and run the groups effectively.
Having been a member of various youth groups we have been able to mentor and influence youths to be productive in their lives. Have attended numerous motivational talks in home county Nyandarua and other counties around the country. Also have come up with Solidarity Youth Group as a founding member where youths come up together to share ideas and participate in community activities. Also through Currently together with several other people we are organizing a youth talent search and mentorship programs to help youths with talents in Nyandarua County know their talents and get financing to make them financially independent.
