Georgia Institute of Technology is a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia. Also known as Georgia Tech, the institute was founded in 1885 as Georgia School of Technology. It is organized into six colleges, consisting about 31 departments having an emphasis on science and technology. The scholarship is for up to eight semesters of enrollment in an amount equal to the non-resident portion of tuition charges.
