Presidential Scholarship at the University of Kentucky

The University of Kentucky is one of the good public universities in Kentucky, United States. Many bright and highly talented students get presidential scholarship at the University of Kentucky.

The University of Kentucky offers renewable academic, competitive and selective scholarship opportunities for incoming first-time freshmen. Completed admission application and all supporting documents, including qualifying test scores and high school transcript, must be received by December 1, 2019.

Combined test scores (super-score) are not considered; for all scholarships listed, students may receive only one award. Scholarship awards will be offered pending early application and availability of funds.

The UK is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse student population from all segments of society. Incoming freshmen applicants for this competitive scholarship program must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.50. For more information, contact Asia Payne.

RaiseMe Scholarship

High school seniors can earn scholarships from the University of Kentucky for earning good grades, taking challenging courses, participating in community service, extracurricular activities and more. The University of Kentucky is pleased to offer micro-scholarships to eligible incoming freshman students who utilize RaiseMe:

  • Visit www.raise.me/join/ukentucky or download the RaiseMe app
  • Upload all of your 9-12th-grade courses, achievements, and activities to RaiseMe by December 1st of the senior year of high school
  • Apply to the UK at applyuk.com by December 1st
  • Achieve a 3.50 high school GPA

You can only access your earnings on RaiseMe if you apply, are admitted, have an at least a 3.50 GPA and enroll at the UK. If that happens, you can depend on getting at least the amount you earned on RaiseMe in scholarships or grants from the UK. RaiseMe Scholarships are not stackable with academic or competitive scholarships.
