About position

The University of Adelaide welcomes applicants to apply for the position of Lecturer in the Institute of International Trade.

In particular, the position holder will do the following duties at the university

  • Teach into the academic programs according to the faculty.
  • Guide and supervise students in research in these fields.
  • Organize seminars and academic sessions if necessary.
  • Furthermore, complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. (or evidence of submission of Ph.D. thesis for examination) in an international trade policy-related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international trade policy education at postgraduate level.
  • Similarly, demonstrated research output (publications, conference papers, reports or technical contributions) on current international trade policy issues.
  • Experience developing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analyzing related data. Also, experience in preparing technical reports as well as publishing academic journal articles.
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively with senior staff to write grant proposals, generate external funding to support the Institute’s research program and develop strong national and international collaborations and participate in Institute consulting projects.
