Roles and responsibilities
- Teaching various disciplines of Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Microbiology (non-clinical), Immunology and/or related disciplines to higher level students.
- Similarly, conducting lectures, tutorials and practical sessions in the related subjects.
- Supervise undergraduates and postgraduate students in terms of academics, assesments and research activities.
- Conduct standard research activities in the recent advances in the field of pharmacology, biotechnology, immunology, microbiology (non-clinical), and so on. Also, lead, guide and supervise the research project.
- Conduct workshops, experiments, and other academic-related activities whenever necessary.
- In addition to that, contribute to departmental and program administration as well as curriculum development.
Required skills and qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Immunology, Microbiology or related disciplines.
- Following, experience in teaching in the relevant field.
Furthermore,
- Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed international journals, especially in the areas of biotechnology, biochemistry, food, and nutrition as well as other disciplines of biology.
- Highly motivated and possess creative talents to develop and apply state-of-the-art techniques in the areas of Immunology to investigate biomedical problems that are critical to the health of humans and/or domestic animals.
- Track of record in obtaining external funding/research grants.
- Demonstrate evidence of effective classroom teaching skills.
