Position: Tenure Track Appointment (Assistant Professor) on Editing under the Department of Cinema and Television Arts
The CSUN Department of Cinema and Television Arts seeks an Assistant Professor of Editing for our highly regarded Film Production Program. The incumbent will teach intermediate and advanced courses in film and television editing as well as beginning courses in film production. In addition to teaching, the position requires advising duties, including mentoring and advising students working on advanced level production projects, advising students on academic matters, participating in departmental activities such as portfolio review and senior showcases, and interfacing with the entertainment industry and related organizations. However, faculty staffs at the Department might also need to contribute professionally at the state and national levels.
