Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be doing the following duties at the Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business at Southern Utah University
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing. In addition, the preferred candidate will have the ability to teach face-to-face and online courses, and provide focused instruction in a marketing-related niche area such as digital marketing, logistics & supply chain management, professional sales, entrepreneurial marketing, retailing, advertising and branding, etc.
- In addition to that, engage and mentor students in the exploration of career opportunities and placement within the discipline.
- Develop and grow the undergraduate Marketing program as well as provide service to the department, school, and university, as well as professional service.
- Furthermore, perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements
- Earned doctorate and publications in Marketing or a related discipline are necessary. In addition to that, professional experience in marketing desirable.
- Excellent teaching and proven research skills.
- Active research agenda in marketing or closely related areas.
- Furthermore, the ability to engage and mentor students in the exploration of career opportunities and placement within the discipline.
