About Position

The University of Dundee is seeking highly qualified and experienced teaching staff to join the School of Education and Social Work to teach, tutor and lecture Educational Psychology to the higher degree students. Here are some of the major duties and responsibilities of the Lecturer of Educational Psychology

• Contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of the curriculum.
• Share in the supervision of the practical placements for trainee educational psychologists.
• Involvement in teaching individual and group tutorials.
• Involvement in the assessment of trainee educational psychologists’ progress.
• Supervise the collaborative projects in Year 1 of the Programme and the research theses of trainee educational psychologists during Year 2
• Engage in research.

Required qualification and skills

• Fully qualified educational psychologist.
• Currently employed by a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service.
• A good honors degree in psychology or equivalent.
• Post graduate qualification in educational psychology.
• Chartered status with the BPS.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
