About role

The Business School of the university invites caliber applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting. The tenure track will be in the office from August 2020 and will be carrying out the following duties

• Develop as well as teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the College of Business.
• Engage students in high-impact learning practices.
• Develop a sustainable scholarship program.
• Provide impactful departmental, college, university, and professional service to the university, community, and state.
• Furthermore, serves department, administration as well as community if necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following eligibilities to qualify for the position

• Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting (or ABD with completion prior to February 15, 2021) from a regionally accredited institution or LL.M. in Taxation from an institution accredited by the American Bar Association plus Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• Ability to develop a sustainable research program that could incorporate undergraduate students.
• Similarly, the ability to utilize a wide range of software and apply techniques related to accounting.
• Proper understanding of the academic discipline and teaching pedagogy.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
