About the Department
The Department of Global Health has a large research program on maternal and child health in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. It recently received a 1.5-year award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation focusing on optimizing medical equipment in the recently established network of SNCUs throughout India. It will synthesize and analyze existing data, collect new data on opinions of health care professions about optimal medical equipment, and prepare for future studies in which it will evaluate the efficacy and cost effectiveness of equipment bundles to reduce adverse neonatal outcomes.
It is seeking a full-time research fellow to coordinate the management of the project and research activities. The candidate will join the existing research team and report to the project PI, Professor Patricia Hibberd. The project manager will coordinate and collaborate closely with colleagues in the United States and India.
