UN ESCAP Internship 2026: Conference & General Services Experience in Bangkok

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is offering a hands-on internship in its Conference and General Services Section (CGSS) in Bangkok.  Internship Overview

Key Responsibilities

Interns may be assigned tasks such as:

• Generating reports, work orders, and data extraction using Excel and SAP
• Performing media analysis and evaluating projects
• Liaising with other UN Sections on CGSS administrative matters

 Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (master’s degree or higher)
• Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level)

Other requirements:

• Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Fluency in Thai (spoken and written)
• Interest in UN work and commitment to the ideals of the UN Charter
• Ability to interact successfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds

No prior work experience is required, but training, coursework, or skills relevant to conference management and administration are valuable.
