As one of two schools in the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences, The Melbourne Veterinary School has an outstanding international reputation . It is famous for its excellence and innovation in research and curriculum development. Also, it is supported by world class clinical facilities located at the newly redeveloped U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital.

We are now seeking to appoint an outstanding Veterinary Neurologist to contribute to the research, teaching and clinical practice.

This appointment will be made at a Level B – E the level will be determined by the University Appointments and Promotions Committee. Candidates with a Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences coupled with relevant academic and clinical experience are encouraged to apply. A specialist certification in Veterinary Neurology would be looked upon favorably.


  • The appointee will conduct scholarly activities including practical classes and tutorials in veterinary medicine or surgery with an emphasis on neurology.
  • Also, s/he will conduct research and provide research leadership by mentoring and supporting students and junior staff.
  • Moreover, work  collaboratively as part of a small team
  •  Furthermore, s/he will participate in medical and surgical services at the U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital.
