Coordinator, Private Sector Engagement position is available at the Washington, DC Headquarters of World Wildlife Fund. The Coordinator will assist the Private Sector Engagement (PSE) team in the development and management of corporate partnerships to advance WWF’s conservation mission, maximize revenue and increase awareness of WWF among the US public.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate calendar, schedules meetings, and processes expenses for two Directors on PSE team.
- Support administrative staff as needed in the planning, preparation and execution of large staff meetings like the Quarterly Connect.
- Support PSE team members through research, coordination and administrative tasks that contribute to the successful management of existing corporate partnerships and the addition of new relationships.
- Attend calls and meetings with WWF staff, stakeholders and corporate partners, summarizing key points and action items in collaboration with Supervisor.
- Field incoming corporate requests, evaluating whether a prospective relationship aligns with the organization and meets minimum criteria via due diligence research.
- Discuss each qualified opportunity with Supervisor to determine next steps in developing the partnership and distribute vetted opportunities to the appropriate senior team member.
- Participate in the partnership development and management process, contributing creative marketing and communication ideas to advance corporate partnerships.
- Compile regular updates from PSE team members on outreach to target companies, assisting Supervisor in monitoring progress against new business development goals.
- Manage select internal employee communications activities to raise awareness of corporate partnerships within the PSE team and WWF more broadly.
- Under guidance from Supervisor, track and monitor basic financial information and metrics for existing corporate partnerships, compiling and providing reports to PSE team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Requires upto 2 years experience in account management or, development marketing-related field. Agency experience a plus.
