Apply for the Position of Emergency Project Assistance in Catholic Relief Services at Chad!
The position will be supervised by the Country Manager in coordination with the Head of Programming (HoP) for Cameroon/Chad and will work with other Chad staff including Programming staff, Admin/Operations, and Finance staff.
Catholic Relief Services is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS works to save, protect, and transform lives in need in more than 100 countries, without regard to race, religion, or nationality.
Facilitate communication with all members of the project team, relevant staff in other departments/teams, CARO and HRD technical experts, as well as external stakeholders as relevant.
Provide specialized project administrative transactions and processes.
Prepare documents in support of project operations processes as well as support and facilitate coordination of transaction processing and provide compliance support.
Also, compile data, perform data entry and data verification in relation to project processes, and support the development and implementation of strong M&E systems
Provide logistical and communication support to event planning activities, project implementation, assessments, partner training, etc. as needed.
In addition, support implementation of property management processes
Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
Assist Project Managers in the implementation of emergency activities
Participate in and support the proposal and budget development for new funding opportunities.
Internal: Country Representative, Country Manager, Head of Programs, STaR PM, LDSC PM, PCS/LL PM, other Project Managers, and program team, MEAL Officers, Finance staff, HRD staff
External: Caritas Chad, SECADEV Team, Government of Chad and other stakeholders, donors, representatives of other humanitarian agencies operating in N’Djamena, Cha
Qualification
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Professional Diploma/Certificate or courses in Administration a plus.
Experience working in an office environment in a clerical or administrative role. Experience with a local or international NGO is a plus.
Knowledge of typing/word processing, data entry into online databases and forms, and working with various office equipment.
In addition, experience in MS Office packages and information management systems. Proficient in Word.
