
The International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, is recruiting a Regional Industry Director to lead its Infrastructure & Natural Resources (INR) operations across North, West, and Central Africa. This senior leadership role will drive private sector investment, sustainable infrastructure, and energy access, aligning with IFC 2030 goals.
The role involves strategic oversight of key sectors, including power, transport, municipal infrastructure, telecommunications, oil and gas, and mining. The Director will manage a large, dispersed team, build strong client and government partnerships, and leverage innovative financial solutions to scale impact.
Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD in economics, finance, or business, with 15+ years of relevant experience and fluency in English (French/Arabic a plus).
