Education
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, preferably with a focus on international criminal law or humanitarian law. Additionally, a relevant first-level university degree in the above fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in law, including legal analysis, research, and writing.
Relevant experience working in the appellate chambers of an international or internationalized criminal tribunal or of a national criminal court.
Languages
The official working languages of the ECCC are English, French, and Khmer. Furthermore, for the post advertised, the candidate must have fluency in English. Also, the knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of Khmer is an asset.
