About the position
The position holder will be responsible for providing direct support to HFU in relation to information management, strategy development, monitoring and assisting in administrative and logistical issues.
Here, are some of the roles and responsibilities that the National Data Management Officer should undertake
- Prepare allocation dashboards, maps, and other infographics
- Create visibility materials
- Update social media and website
- Design surveys and feedback forms using survey monkey and m-form application
- Develop web-based and desktop applications
- Provide administrative and logistical support
- Support production of reports
- Support monitoring of projects
- Collect, update, and verify Who is Doing What and Where (3W) information and provide data to the IMU for further consolidation
- Update and verify humanitarian contact lists and migrate to Humanitarian ID (HID) for consolidation
- Manage regional information; reports; assessments; meeting events; agendas; and minutes onto the Humanitarian Response Website
- Any other activities as directed by the Head of HFU
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science or Information Management, International Studies, or other relevant fields of study
- with Bachler degree, two years of relevant experiences
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant progressively responsible experience in emergency, humanitarian programming, crisis, relief management, or other related areas preferably with at least two years with UN or NGO organization
- Very good knowledge in information management particularly using modern technologies, such as Tableau, Kobo Cat, MS Access database, Power Query/Power View, GIS
- Report writing skills
