Position: Manager (Product Management) at Samsung Group
Roles and responsibilities
The position holder leads the mobile IoT and content and services team. Basically, the primary focus will be to define the strategy to drive adoption of IoT and usage for mobile services which will create stickiness and differentiation for mobile products.
- Responsible for driving market share, revenue and profits for IoT business in B2B/B2C segment. Similarly, responsible for the KPIs of mobile services such as registration rate, monthly active usage rate, etc.
- Lead the mobile content and services team to manage and drive usage of mobile services (Samsung Pay, Bixby, Samsung SmartThings) to create stickiness to mobile products. Also, define the key strategy for IoT and mobile services to achieve business goals
- Manage the IoT product portfolio, lifecycle and pricing to ensure market share leadership and competitiveness. Similarly, expand the IoT product ecosystem with relevant products and services that will create relevant benefits to consumers.
- Plan and manage new features introduction and upgrades for mobile services that have relevant benefits to consumers.
- Market sensing to identify key market and technology trends that are relevant to IoT/mobile services and leverage them for achieving business growth.
- Work closely with HQ and RHQ to roll out mobile services to the market.
- Work closely with KAMs to drive IoT business growth with key accounts in both carrier and open channel. Similarly, also with the marketing team to drive awareness, adoption, and usage of IoT and mobile services.
- Manage the technical support team for mobile services to ensure adequate testing and seamless implementation.
- Product/services portfolio presentation to partners, media and consumers.
- Business development and synergistic collaboration with strategic external partners that can drive usage as well as the adoption of mobile services or IoT products.
Required qualifications
- University degree in the related field. In addition to that, a minimum of 8 years of working experience in Product Marketing or relevant field.
- Must have strong business acumen
- Excellent team player and able to deal with multiple stakeholders
