Africa’s one of the fastest-growing social humanitarian organization Youth Hub Africa calls vacancy for the position of Program Assistant in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Youth Hub Africa is a non-governmental body based in Abuja Nigeria that works to bring the positive impacts on society and contributes to balance disparity and inequality predicted by the absence of adequate quality education, sexual reproductive healthcare, skills and opportunities for African youths, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities 

The position will work on projects in line with the guidelines and regulations of donors outsource for donors through proposal writings document proposals, and reports. In particular, the vacancy position will do the following duties in Youth Hub Africa

• Reporting to the Program Manager
• Writing of grant-winning proposals as well as writing the reports of completed projects.
• Assisting in the direct management and coordination of YHA project activities in line with the projects implementation plan
• Developing and monitoring project tasks and activities with project goals in line with approved work plans and standards for high quality.
• Also, ensuring compliance with donor requirements in the implementation of projects
• Furthermore, the position will be undertaking other activities as assigned by the Program Manager.

Requirements 

• A Degree in the Sciences, Social Sciences or related disciplines with at least 2 years cognate experience. However, a master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the country and also across the region on a regular basis.
• The high degree of independence, creativity, and commitment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to write clearly and succinctly under time pressure and to make well organized verbal presentations.
• Ability to work under high pressure of work.
