Position: Project Management Specialist

Position summary

The incumbent will work as a key customer advocate responsible for managing projects to ensure, maintain and enhance the performance of customer networks to deliver customer satisfaction. Similarly, s/he will also work as a consultant to the customer to oversee the implementation of strategic and complex services while working closely with the appropriate internal organizations using knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices.

Key duties 

• Implementation of strategic and complex services.
• Oversee the installation process from service turn-up to billing initiation.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all installations and also serve as the escalation point for all expedite requests.
• Executive readouts and communication as well as assist in the development of Executive briefings and external presentations.
• Working with internal departments for coordination of installations.
• First and Last Invoice Reviews for all new installations as well as inventories of products and services.
• Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed.
• Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports.
• Prepare and document Day 1/Day 2 support documentation and acceptance criteria.
• Furthermore, off-hours scheduling and adherence.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for Project Management Job Vacancy at Verizon Communication

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. In addition to that, three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in an enterprise client environment as well as project management experience with deploying and delivering complex solutions preferred.
• Similarly, financial Business acumen and certification in ITIL, and/or PMP is desirable.
