Registered Nurse is required in Caritas in Germany.

As a charitable organization of the Catholic Church, the German Caritas Association Berlin maintains a comprehensive range of help and counseling services to support people in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. One focus of the association is providing advice and support to migrants and refugees.

Full and part time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Medical / Nursing care of refugees
• Referral management to general practitioners and hospitals
• Regular MDT meetings
• Support social and psychological needs
• Development and implementation of new structures and guidelines
• Admission and discharge management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Registered Nurse in Germany
• Good German / English language skills
• Experience in acute medicine and / or psychiatric care desirable
• Ability to adapt to changing situations
• Ability to cope with emotionally stressful situations.
• Other language skills desirable
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• Reflect the values of Caritas
