Facebook Software Engineer Jobs

Insatgram, the largest photo, and video sharing social networking service owned by Facebook is seeking a motivated, highly qualified, and experienced Compiler Software Engineer to join the Phyton Runtime team. The Python Runtime team is helping Instagram bend efficiency curve by making python go fast. The position is based in Menlo Park, California at the headquarter of Facebook. Roles and responsibilities

The recruitment Facebook Software Engineer will perform the following duties

• Analyze and design effective computer optimization
• Implement and/or enhance code generation targeting mobile or server platform
• Code using primarily C/C++
• Interface with other compiler-focused teams to evaluate and incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of our toolchains

Required qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field. Masters of Ph.D. preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience of coding in C or C++
• Knowledge in compiler field
• At least one year experience working on and contributing to an active compiler toolchain codebase, such as LLVM, GCC, MSVC
