The Digital Operations Consultant is part of the Digital Communications team. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Head of Digital Communications, s/he will optimize and coordinate the operational workflows which enable UNDP’s Digital Communications team to manage websites; engage with global audiences through social media; and produce creative and cutting-edge digital, multimedia stories.
Responsibilities
The candidate will have the following responsibilities
- Ensure the healthy functioning of the operating systems for the digital communications team.
- Also, propose operational enhancements for greater efficiencies and effectiveness based on a review and analysis of the existing workflows, tools, and systems employed by the digital communications team.
- Also, test new productivity tools and apply them to the needs of the digital communications team.
- Likewise, work with digital team members in running technical aspects of digital conference calls and meetings.
- Additionally, track and analyze operational resources and assets for routine business planning and decisions.
- Furthermore, support the digital communications team to carry out other duties as required.
Qualifications

- Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required
- Bachelor’s Degree is acceptable with an additional 2 years of experience in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Moreover, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in digital communications context – including finance, budgeting, and souring of digital products and services.
- Also, Excellent administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and knowledge of spreadsheet, database packages, and ERP system
- Previous experience with a multilateral or international organization is desirable.
- Languages: Fluency in English.
Additionally, fluency in another UN language is an asset.
