
Brasília, Brazil — The World Bank Group has announced a new vacancy for an Operations Analyst in Brasília, Brazil, as part of its ongoing effort to strengthen program delivery and strategic operations across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The role sits within the Operations sector at Grade GE and is designed for professionals with strong analytical, operational, and country-level experience who can support one of the World Bank’s largest and most dynamic country portfolios.
Brazil represents a major pillar of the World Bank’s regional engagement. The current portfolio includes 53 active projects totaling USD 9.2 billion, with a strong pipeline extending through FY27 and beyond. As Brazil navigates slowing growth, fiscal constraints, and persistent inequality, operational excellence and strategic coordination have become increasingly critical.
The Operations Analyst will work closely with the Country Director, Operations Manager, and Country Management Unit (CMU) teams to ensure coherence, performance, and impact across the portfolio and pipeline.
The Operations Analyst will play a cross-cutting role at the heart of country operations, combining data analysis, policy insight, and hands-on coordination with government counterparts and internal teams.

Beyond analytics, the Operations Analyst will be deeply engaged in client dialogue, supporting coordination with Brazilian government counterparts and responding to operational and strategic requests. The role also involves supporting trust fund monitoring, knowledge program delivery, and high-level visits, including South-South cooperation exchanges.
