The applications for the FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 has opened. Interested candidates can apply until 3rd February 2020.

The FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 list is the most-anticipated list of game-changers on the continent and this year, they are on the hunt for 30 of Africa’s brightest achievers under the age of 30 spanning these categories:

Business, Technology, Creatives, and Sport.

If the candidates believe that they have what it takes to be on this year’s list or know an entrepreneur, creative, technology entrepreneur or sports star under 30 with a proven track record on the continent, they should introduce them to FORBES AFRICA by applying or submitting their nomination.

Nominations and Application Criteria

The criteria vary according to the fields the candidates are interested in

For the candidates specializing in Business and Technology categories, the eligibility requirements for the FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 are

• They must be an entrepreneur aged 29 or younger on 31 March 2020
• Also, they should have a legitimate registered business on the continent
• Additionally, their business/businesses should be two years or older
• Also, nominees must have risked own money and have a social impact during the course of business
• Similarly, their ideas must be profit generating
• The applicants must also employ people in Africa
• Moreover, all applications must be in English
• Furthermore, they should be available and prepared to participate in the Under 30 Meet-Up

For the Sports category

• The candidates must be sports person of age 29 or younger on 31 March 2020
• They must be representing an African team
• Also, they should have a proven track record of no less than two years
• They should be making significant earnings
• In addition to that, the applicants should have some endorsement deals
• Similarly, if they have entrepreneurship and social impact, that will be a plus point.
• All applications must be in English
• They should be available and prepared to participate in the Under 30 Meet-Up.

For the Creatives category

• Must be a creative of age 29 or younger on 31 March 2020
• Must be from or based in Africa
• Should be making significant earnings
• Should have a proven creative record of no less than two years
• Additionally, must have social influence
• Entrepreneurship and social impact is a plus
• All applications must be in English
• Also, should be available to participate in the Under 30 Meet-Up
