The Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch is an annual recognition organized by CIBWE to honor women who:
• Break barriers in their careers
• Drive innovation and leadership
• Create meaningful social and economic impact
The selected honorees are celebrated at the Black Pearls Gala, a major event dedicated to recognizing excellence and empowerment.
Applicants can be nominated under different categories, including:
• Business / Entrepreneurship
• Professional Excellence
• Arts & Media
• Promising Youth (ages 18–25)
• Sports
These categories ensure recognition across diverse fields and contributions.
To be eligible, nominees must:
• Be a Black woman living and working in Canada
• Have at least 5 years of presence in Canada
• Demonstrate leadership, innovation, and community impact

The selection process is competitive and includes:
