Applications call for Close-up Photographer of the Year 2020. CUPOTY is a celebration of close-up, macro photography, and photomicrography – an annual competition created to showcase images that help us see the world anew.
The search is on to find the second winner of Close-up Photographer of the Year, in association with Affinity Photo. Photographers have until May 17th, 2020 to enter the competition and be in with a chance of winning a cash prize of £2,500. The competition 2020 is open to all nationalities.

Eligibilities
- The Close-up Photographer of the Year (CUPOTY) competition (‘the Competition’) is open to everyone except those working for CUPOTY (‘the Organisers’) and the Judges (including their families and relatives). Employees of sponsors who have not been directly involved in the organization of the Competition may enter.
- The Competition is open to all professional and amateur photographers of any nationality.
- All entries must be submitted in a digital format. This may be a photograph captured with a digital camera or a high-quality scan from transparency or negative.
- Entrants to the competition must be aged 18 or over on May 17th, 2020. Entrants aged 17 or under on May 17th, 2020 should enter Young CUPOTY.
