Applications call for Design Presentation Competition.

This is the challenge that delivers an inspiring 3-5 minute presentation of something you’ve created. Record yourself presenting a design you have worked on and are passionate about for 3 -5 minutes. The purpose of this challenge is to see how you can present your design, in a few minutes, in an inspirational way. Applicants can submit the following items

• Youtube or Vimeo link to the presentation video
• Written Design Description: Applicants must provide some brief details about the design you presented and why you selected it for this competition. Must be in English. 500 words or fewer.
• Banner Image: One image of the design you presented. Must be 16×9 landscape orientation. The call prefers 1920×1080 pixels. 3MB file size limit.
• Optional: 1-3 bonus images of the design that bring it to life.

Prizes

The Grand Prize for Design Presentation Competition is $1,000.

Video Guidelines

• The presentation video must be in English.
• No excessive cuts or edits allowed in the video. Must be straightforward.
• The video should contain nothing except the designer(s) talking.
• The video must show the face of appliacnts. No voice overs.
• No post-production wizardry please; this is not a video making contest, it is a gauge of how well you present. If you’re going to spend time making something cool, put it into your design.
• No music or weird sound effects.
• Applicants may use tools like slides, printed boards, an iPad, books, photographs, etc.

Rules

• The presentation video must be in English.
• All text must be in English.
• Must be an original work, created by the submitter.
• Applicant may work as an individual or in a group or team.
• DesignClass reserves the right to suspend the competition and refund entry fees.
• Participants retain rights to their submissions.
• Participants grant DesignClass & GoArchitect license to publish submissions online and in print.
• Open to anyone from anywhere.
