Established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, The Diana Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. This is the longest running award for young people that is given to individuals and groups through a retrospective nomination process only. They believe this is special. Young people do not work towards the award, rather they demonstrate their suitability through their actions, without any expectation of reward.
Moreover, The Diana Award is bestowed upon inspiring, courageous, compassionate young people, positively transforming the lives of others in Diana, Princess of Wales memory and legacy.
The deadline to nominate someone for a 2019 Diana Award is 29th March 2019. All nominators will be contacted by the end of May 2019 with the result of their Diana Award Nomination.
UK Diana Award recipients will be invited to attend an UK Award Ceremony in their local area in either June/July or November/December 2019. International Diana Award recipients will be celebrated virtually on International Ceremony Day, the date of which will be announced later in 2019.
