Young Architects Competitions launches Dubai Sea House, a competition of ideas aiming to design a villa in Jumeirah Bay and offer peace among the hustle and bustle of one of the fastest economies of the world.

Under the shining sun of Dubai, looking at the unique, almost melting, skyline, designers are called to tell a story of peace, of fiery sunsets on the warm waters of the Gulf, on the sound of waves crashing on candid coral beaches.

Design

Participants have to design exterior and interior designs. Additionally, being the villa part of a real estate complex, guidelines have to be respected in order to maintain common standards, protect residents and guarantee the quality of the final master plan of the complex.

what should your design include?

1. lobby/living area
2. bar/breakfast area
3. dining room

5. study/library/reading area

7. 5 bedroom with ensuite bathroom as well as walk-in wardrobe, and terrace if applicable
8. 1 bedroom with adequate standards for the accommodation of a disabled person, walk-in ward robe, bathroom, and terrace of a size suitable for the movement of a wheelchair
   
9.  wellness area (equipped with a spa, Turkish bath, and jacuzzi)

Eligibility

There are no restrictions on participants’ professions, they can be students, graduates, freelance architects, or even an architectural firm, as well as it is not mandatory to be experts in architectural disciplines or members of architectural associations.

However, each team must include at least one member aged from 18 to 35 years old.

How to Regester

The registration procedure must be carried out according to the online process describe as follows:

1. access: https://www.youngarchitectscompetitions.com/login/index/signup and register your team
2. Once the registration of the Team has been confirmed, you should log in into your team account on YAC’s website
   
3. select the competition you would like to join;
   
4. add the members of the team by filling in all required fields with complete and truthful information
   
5. pay the registration fee following by clicking on “Pay Now” and by following the instructions;
   
6. After the payment, you can upload the materials following the indications
