ETH4D Faculty Exchange Grants 2025

Applications are open for the ETH4D Faculty Exchange Grants 2025. Scientists and researchers are invited to apply for either the ETH4D Visiting Scientist Grant or the ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant.

The ETH4D Visiting Scientist Grant is a funding initiative aimed at supporting researchers from academic institutions in low- and lower-middle-income countries by enabling them to visit ETH Zurich for a short research stay or to participate in academic events. Through this grant, visiting scientists can collaborate with ETH Zurich researchers, access advanced research facilities, and contribute to ongoing scientific projects. Additionally, the grant allows recipients to attend conferences, workshops, and seminars organized by ETH Zurich scientists, fostering academic exchange, networking, and knowledge dissemination. By facilitating these visits, the program strengthens international academic partnerships, promotes research inclusivity, and enhances capacity building in lower-income regions, reflecting ETH Zurich’s commitment to global collaboration and the advancement of science and technology. The ETH4D Teaching Stay Grant supports teaching activities of ETH scientists or ETH emeriti at partner institutions in low and lower-middle income countries. Activities include delivering lectures, courses or seminars; or attending collaboration meetings.
