The World Bank Group and the Financial Times are launching a global blog/essay competition. The competition builds on the recent launch of the World Bank’s Human Capital Project and its World Development Report on The Changing Nature of Work. Applicants can also read relevant Financial Times (FT) articles and sign up for free for the FT here.
World Bank Group and The Financial Times are looking for applicants most inventive ideas, high-quality writing, and innovative solutions to improve education outcomes for the next generation.
The theme of this competition is ‘How would you Reimagine Education?’
There is a growing body of research on what people need as a global community to be ready for the future. Leaders and policymakers are engaged and actively looking for answers to better prepare their citizens for an uncertain future. But, the people who will be most affected are today’s high school students and those who follow them. This is why World Bank Group wants to ask applicants what they think will better prepare them for their future.
