Funded Global Study IELTS Awards 2019 is open for successful IELTS test takers.
The Global Study Awards is a competition for successful IELTS test takers who show exceptional promise. You can enter the competition if you plan to use your IELTS results to apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in an English-speaking country. The Global Study Awards recognises studying abroad as a positively life changing experience for many students, opening their minds to alternative ways of personal life and professional career, as well as promoting intercultural understanding and tolerance. It aims to promote studying abroad as a life-changing experience that can open up new possibilities and will benefit not only the student but broader society too.
You’re eligible to enter The Global Study Awards if you’re over 18, plan to study abroad on an undergraduate or postgraduate course, as well as have:
Successful candidates will be willing to engage with the British Council IELTS, ISIC and StudyPortals communities, and publicly share their experiences with other students. The Global Study Awards will be available to prospective students in all countries worldwide. Moreover, it will enable the successful candidate(s) to study abroad, on any chosen programme at a higher education institution.
A selection panel comprised of representatives from the partners will review as well as assess the entries. Strong candidates will be in shortlist and need to attend for an in person interview prior to the final winning selection. The announcement of winners is within 3 months after the application deadline.
The Award prize of up to £10,000 will be applied toward the cost of tuition fees in the first instance. It is paid directly to the Higher Education Institution that the successful candidate will attend.
