Applications call for 11th international Drucker Challenge Essay Contest on Leadership and Critical Thinking in Austria. The contest focuses on keeping the human-oriented management philosophy of Peter Drucker alive in the minds of the young generation.

Funding 

The winner of Peter Drucker International Essay Contest will win the cash prize of 1.500 EUR. In addition to that, the winner will receive free participation and waived registration fee (regular fee +/- € 2,000) for the 12th Global Peter Drucker Forum to be held in Vienna on October 29-30, 2020 at the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) (including conference bag and brochure, buffet lunches, and coffee breaks at the conference venue). The organizer also covers international travel and accommodation costs for attending the Forum will be reimbursed based on our travel process & policy. In addition to that, if the candidate needs a visa to travel to Austria, the organizer will advise early travel arrangements.

The winner will get an Invitation to the Gala event on October 29 with a seated dinner and Awards ceremony (with a partner) Sightseeing or Museum tour with an experienced guide (upon request). In addition to that, the winner will also get an invitation to pre-conference events on October 28 which includes

• Afternoon: Drucker Challenge Get-Together (with a partner) – an opportunity to network with peers, Drucker Challenge team and Jury in a Viennese cozy atmosphere!

Eligibility 

The International Drucker Challenge Essay Contest is open to participants from all over the world. But however,  candidates must be 18-35 years old (inclusive of both ages). In addition to that, they must have been selected no more than once (or not at all) among the top 10 since 2010.

Essay Category 

Candidate can submit one essay to participate as either a student or a professional (please mention your main occupation in the submission form)

• Student Category: Candidates must be a part-time or full-time student (bachelor, master, MBA, or Ph.D.); or they must be seeking your first opportunity after the completion of your last degree
• Professional Category: Candidates must be a manager of people, projects, budgets, and/or processes or be an entrepreneur or business owner. Moreover, they must be a licensed professional and social volunteer or community leaders.
