Les Margaret Awards reward every year European and African women entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, whose projects and innovation meet the major challenges of our society. The award is named after Margaret Hamilton, director of the software engineering division that developed the embedded software for NASA’s Apollo space program. It is thanks to Margaret Hamilton’s contribution that man first walked on the Moon.
Through les Margaret Awards, JFD supports the growth and international influence of startups and initiatives led by European and African women.
female founder or co-founder of a tech startup for the “Entrepreneur” category.
a female employee who has developed a project in agreement with their employer while remaining an employee for the “Intrapreneurship” category.
citizen of a European or African country
Moreover, your project must be innovative and respond to societal issues: Environment & Energy, Health, Communication & IT, Transport & Mobility, etc.
Awards
Finalists for the Margaret 2022 Award will be pre-selected by JFD and then presented on February 10, 2022, to a jury that will select four winners in each category:
Participation in the contest is free and without obligation to purchase. All entries must be via the Internet, to the exclusion of any other means.
The application file must be presented exclusively by a woman founder or co-founder of an innovative company, for the “Entrepreneur” category. An employee of a company that has developed a project in agreement with her employer can also present while remaining an employee, for the “Intrapreneur” category.
The participant shall guarantee to hold directly or by way of license, all intellectual and industrial property rights before the jury of les Margaret Award.
The participant certifies that the content of her product and/or solution is original, innovative, serving a better world.
Also, note that the same person cannot submit several applications for “the Project” presented.
The participant must download the relevant information, complete and send her application form
The participant, if a finalist for les Margaret Awards, must confirm that she will be available during the week of March 8, 2022, to attend the Award Ceremony.
THE AWARD CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE IN PARIS DURING THE WEEK OF MARCH 8, 2022.
