The Zurich Enterprise Challenge 2019 is a chance to tackle the real life corporate problems. It provides you an opportunity of a lifetime to work with one of the world’s top insurance companies and interact with its corporate customers to solve real-life strategy as well as business challenges. The Challenge is an international university competition offering participating students the opportunity to work directly with select ZURICH multinational corporate customers and provide real world solutions to existing challenges facing those corporations.

Furthermore, the challenge is a three-phase team competition designed to offer participating Masters, MBA or PhD students the opportunity to work directly with multinational corporations to provide real world solutions to existing corporate challenges.

• Phase 1 – Crack the Case:
  By solving a generic case study your team will be introduced to the Zurich Risk Room tool, learn how to use it and also improve your understanding of risk analysis and management.
• Phase 2 – Partners Project:
  The top 20 teams will collaborate with a selected Zurich multinational corporate customer to provide a solution for a real-world corporate challenge.
• Phase 3 – The Summit:
  The winning team will present their solutions and recommendations to an audience of senior business executives attending the Zurich Global Risk Management Summit 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

The Challenge is open to Master, MBA and PhD students (full or part-time) from any university worldwide. Moreover, participants can be from any field but should have an interest in management, finance, strategy and risk management or similar subjects. Furthermore, multiple teams representing the same university can join the Challenge.

This is a team challenge; each team should consist of 3-4 team members. You need to complete your team’s registration in order to enter the Challenge.

Winning Team

The team with the best submission from Phase 2 will receive CHF 5’000 shared between team members.
Above all, you will be eligible for full attendance and presentation at the Zurich Global Risk Management Summit including travel and accommodation.

Runner-up team

The team of the next best submission from Phase 2 will receive CHF 2’000 shared between team members.

All top 20 teams

A certificate signed by a Zurich expert detailing participation and Phase 2 achievements. Also, your team will complete a consultancy case with Zurich and a leading global organization.

Moreover, chances for interviews for top performing participants. Zurich and partner companies will have the opportunity to review candidates during or after the Challenge.
