The UN Youth Ghana Summit 2018 which is slated for 5th-7th October, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Centre seeks to bring together various change makers, entrepreneurs, and leaders for deliberations and discussions geared towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The theme for this year’s summit is “Mobilizing and Utilizing Ghanaian Youth in Active Participation Towards Achieving the Global Goals for Sustainable Development”.

The Summit which is the first ever and largest Youth gathering in Ghana’s history is a joint collaboration with Millennium Promise Alliance, the SDG Advisory Unit at the Office of the President and the various students and out of school Unions across Ghana.

The summit will host over 2000 delegates and 300 Special guests and dignitaries from various sectors and industries. Special guests of honor include Prof. Jeffrey D. Sachs, a world renowned Professor of economics, leader in sustainable development, and Director of the center for sustainable development at Columbia University; and His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings, Former President of Ghana, with keynote speech delivered by the President of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

This Ghana’s largest youth gathering has on board world leading experts, policy makers, industry players youth and students from across all the National Students Unions, National Religious Students Unions, National Youth-based Organizations, National Courses-based organizations, Political and Social Activism Groups, Performance, Sports and Recreational Groups, Service and Honorary Societies, National Societies for Persons with Disabilities, Social Clubs, Non-Governmental Organizations and Civil Society
Organizations.

Applications are opened for all active young people between the ages 18-40.
