World Forum for Democracy 2025 – Fully Funded

The World Forum for Democracy invites applications from young leaders to join the Youth Delegation 2025 in Strasbourg, France. This annual event, co‑organized by the Council of Europe and the European Democracy Youth Network, brings together youth delegates, policymakers, activists, and scholars to explore democracy-related challenges and solutions.

 Why Join as a Youth Delegate?

• Engage in interactive debates with policymakers, academics, and activists
• Collaborate on solutions for democratic challenges, including digitalization, climate justice, and human rights
• Take part in youth-led workshops and innovative labs
• Network with a diverse group of 100+ participants from around the world
• Present youth perspectives in high-level sessions and public panels

 Who Should Apply?

• Young leaders aged 18–30
• Residents of Council of Europe member states or partner countries
• Actively engaged in youth activism, civic participation, or public policy
• Fluent in English (Council languages considered)

Application Highlights

• Answer prompt questions about your democratic engagement, leadership experience, and ideas to co-design democratic futures
• Submit a concise biography and motivation letter
• Applications open in August and typically close in late September 2025
