Applications are now open for the 11th International Particle Accelerator Conference 2020 (IPAC’20). The 11th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’20), will be held in Caen, France from May 10 to 15, 2020. The venue is at the Event Center “Parc des Expositions” of Caen.IPAC is the main international event for the worldwide accelerator community and industry. Attendees will be present advance accelerator research and development results and gain the latest insights into accelerator facilities across the globe.

Moreover, With over 1000 delegates and 70 industry exhibits, this is a unique opportunity to network. Further,  learn from and meet a wide range of decision-makers, opinion leaders, buyers and new kids on the block. Caen city, located at the very heart of Normandy, between Paris and Mont Saint-Michel, is lively. A land of contrast including the city and its historic heritage, wild and unspoilt countryside. Also,  seashores that stretch from Ouistreham Riva-Bella to Lion-sur-mer. Prizes

The prizes are for individuals with no restriction as to nationality. They are:

  •  The Rolf Wideröe Prize for outstanding work in the accelerator field with no age limit. The winner will receive an engraved medal, and make an oral presentation during the Accelerator Prizes Special Session during IPAC’20.
  •  The Gersh Budker Prize for a recent, significant contribution to the accelerator field with no age limit. The winner will receive an engraved medal, and make an oral presentation during the Accelerator Prizes Special Session during IPAC’20.
  • Likewise, The Frank Scherer Prize for an individual in the early part of his or her career, having made a recent significant, original contribution to the accelerator field. The winner will receive a framed certificate, and a cash prize of 2000 Euros, and will also make an oral presentation during the Accelerator Prizes Special Session during IPAC’20.
